Who We Are

Tyson - Principal Architect

Tyson graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Tyson's affinity for math led him straight into software development with a large insurance firm. After years of building his software development skills, Tyson ventured out on his own as an independent contractor and never looked back.

Tyson's software development experience is broad and deep, it crosses industries, platforms and categories. In the manufacturing space, Tyson has architected solutions for paperless MES applications and serialized identification systems to SQL Server based business intelligence platforms following the Kimball method. Tyson has extensive experience with Amazon Web Services where he has performed lifts and shifts of large scale software platforms to AWS and greenfield deployments of natively-built AWS applications and infrastructure.

Tyson is a Certified AWS developer, a Certified AWS DevOps Engineer, a Certified AWS SysOps Administrator and is in the process of renewing his Certified AWS Solution Architect credential.  His Architecture experience spans both software and infrastructure, both on-premise and cloud-based. He also has experience with the Azure cloud and is architecting solutions on the AWS analogs in Azure.

Tyson's interests currently lie in the CI/CD space, building automated code pipelines and processes for his development teams so that they can be more effective and efficient in solution delivery.

Pete - Principal Consultant

After completing his degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois, Pete joined Toyota Motor Manufacturing and learned the Toyota Production System.  He took that knowledge and moved on to a tier one automotive supplier as a Senior Process Engineer and a key member in the company's ERP implementation. Discovering his interest in the application of software to create business solutions, Pete moved on to consulting on Oracle and SAP ERP implementations for middle market and larger businesses.

Since completing his Master's degree in Software Engineering at DePaul University, Pete uses his combined experience in engineering and software to deliver cutting edge business solutions to his clients. Pete's roles as a consultant include developer, project manager, program manager, IT Director and CIO. He enjoys both the technical and functional aspects of Information Technology consulting and interfaces with all team members from developers to executives in the pursuit of the best solution for the business.

Pete's current interests are in the development and implementation of analytics platforms that drive personalized, actionable intelligence to all roles in an organization. He and Tyson have built analytics platforms for clients from the ground up, using both traditional data warehousing methodologies as well as recently released tools  available in the Azure and AWS clouds. Pete manages multiple, ongoing analytics projects for clients and is continuously studying and implementing  the latest features in Azure and AWS that are rapidly enabling and changing the data analytics landscape.
